Knowing Jesus is the most powerful gift you can give this Christmas.
We all agree that there is no other gift that has the power to change people's lives like the gift of knowing Jesus. We can also agree that, as a church, when it comes to giving away the gift of knowing Jesus, we all could use a little help and direction on how to do that better.
Sharing the gift of Jesus with others is what Christians call “evangelism” and it’s going to be an important focus of Legacy in 2023. Don’t worry, we’re not going to try and make everyone into pushy evangelists or street preachers. But we are going to raise the temperature of evangelism in our hearts, our church, and our city. Even if it's by just a few degrees we believe the result will be many people receiving the powerful and life-changing gift of a relationship with Jesus. If that isn't enough, as a bonus, they get the gift of knowing us...and we get the gift of knowing them as we follow Jesus together.
"We are going to raise the temperature of evangelism in our hearts, our church, and the city."
How We'll Do It
Each of these projects could help us raise the temperature of evangelism in our hearts, our church, and our city but none of them are in our church's budget. How many and how much of them we can implement will depend on extra giving at Christmas.
Give a Powerful Gift This Christmas
A gift is powerful not because of its size or its financial value but because of its purpose and meaning. We would like you to prayerfully consider giving a powerful gift this Christmas - one that reflects your desire to see our church learn how to share our greatest and most powerful gift, the gift of knowing Jesus.
Note: Only gifts received before 1/1/2023 are tax deductible for 2022 taxes..
